The 25th World Scout Jamboree will be named a digital Jamboree, a Jamboree of peace, and a Jamboree for the environment under the theme of ‘Draw your Dream!’. We plan to make it the most dearly reminisced Jamboree in the lifelong paths of youths by organizing it as a grand youth festival that unites the world and one that is supported by South Korea.

What is a World Scout Jamboree?

It is the largest international Scout event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, that takes place every 4 years and is a festive opportunity where the entire world can become one in Scouting. The World Scout Jamboree provides a venue for Scouts around the world to meet each other and share friendships, transcending racial, religious, ideological, and cultural differences. South Korea was able to successfully host the 17th World Scout Jamboree at the World Scout Jamboree training centre in Goseong, Gangwon-do in 1991 themed ’The world is one’, and it is the first time in 32 years that the World Jamboree has been held in Korea since the Goseong World Scout Jamboree. Overview of the event

Duration : 1 (Tue) ~ 12 (Sat) August 2023, for 12 days

Location : The area of SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do

Eligibility (age) : Those born between 22 July 2005 and 31 July 2009

Eligibility : Scouts/Venture Scouts who have been registered as members of the Korea Scout Association for 2 years or more as of 2023 Scouts who have earned a rank of First Class or higher as of 2023
